Our 12/26/2009 Litter

What a blast! We have piles and piles of photos, fun memories, and happy puppy owners to boot! See left for all the details!

We also have one puppy available: Moto.

Moto is one of those little leftover puppies that Terry Martin writes about at her Slash V site. He was our second pick of the litter and probably would have stayed with us if not for the fact that he was a male and I didn't want to deal with intact male/female problems. This puppy comes from parents with good exposure to all types of stock and ranch experience. They are bred to be solid cattle dogs, with both heading and heeling instincts. I expect to see high drive, high bidibility and strong stock savvy from Moto. He will likely also have strong guardian instincts.

Moto, let me say, is goregeous. He's sweet, adorable, does that Aussie-U thing, is bold, adventurous, and super-responsive. Like the rest of the puppies in the litter, he's contientious and people-oriented. He has survived loud, racous parties underfoot, he is the only puppy to have successfully mastered the couch ascent, and he shows a lot of promise with stock in the way that he plays.

I love this puppy's structure. If not for the giant dilute spot, I'd be saying he might be supreme versatility material. He'll be fun to train, fun to work with, and fun to live with. Moto's not going to do well in a kennel-only environment. He needs an owner, or owners, who will pay a good deal of attention to him and love him.

I can honestly say that he is one of the top puppies in the litter on the potential scale and I am looking for just the right home to appreciate that.
